Brusletto Hunter. A Norwegian knife for hunting, fishing and any other outdoor activities. The Hunter has been Norway's best-selling knife since its launch in 1963. Over 1.4 million have been sold!
The Hunter has a simple design that makes it universally useful, helped by the generous size of both the blade and the handle. The 13cm 12C27 stainless steel blade tapers slightly towards the tip and the cutting edge, which is a short Scandinavian-style bevel (the manufacturer describes it as a Scandi blade but the profile matches a full flat blade with a higher secondary bevel). A long and relatively thin (2.2mm) blade like this is ideal for all everyday tasks, including filleting fish. A 25mm aluminium ferrule with guard caps the front of the handle. The handle is made of curly birch, stained in a reddish colour and treated with oil.
The Brusletto Hunter's blade is marked on both sides: the usual Brusletto logo on one side and the knife's name on the other, in attractive Gothic lettering.
The sheath is made of black natural cowhide leather, built in the Scandinavian style, with a seam down the middle of the back. Inside is a plastic insert that protects the sheath against accidental cuts. The top edge of the sheath is wrapped in a metal band that is both decorative and protective. The belt loop is movable and works as a dangler, so the sheath adapts easily to positions such as sitting or squatting.

Important! The YouTube video shows or may show outdated information, such as the steel grade. Its purpose is only to present certain details that do not appear in the images and to show the size in relation to the hand. The product box comes from older stock and also contains outdated information about the steel. The current information, received from the manufacturer, is in the specifications table. The numerical values are currently taken from the Brusletto website and have not been verified by us; in reality they may differ slightly. Some images may show the old version of the logo on the blade, and all images are for illustration purposes only. Wood is a natural material and every handle is unique, so variations in colour or grain are significant.
