Brusletto Falken. The Falcon. A Norwegian knife for hunting and outdoor activities, one of the best-known Brusletto knives.
This knife has a distinctive, attractive and ergonomic design, and the solid guard provides added safety. The compact size and fine, very slightly concave edge make it very manoeuvrable, including for working with meat or other food.
In Norwegian, falk means falcon.
The upswept 12C27 stainless steel blade has a very slightly concave edge (the manufacturer's specification; we would rather describe it as a classic saber grind, also known as a flat grind). The knife has an oil-treated curly birch handle and a fairly large aluminium guard.
The sheath is made of natural dark brown cowhide leather, Western style, with a contoured, embossed design on the lower part. Inside is a plastic insert that prevents the blade from cutting the sheath.
Important! The YouTube video shows or may show outdated information, such as the steel grade. Its purpose is only to present certain details that do not appear in the images and to show the size in relation to the hand. The product box comes from older stock and also contains outdated information about the steel. The current information, received from the manufacturer, is in the specifications table. The numerical values are currently taken from the Brusletto website and have not been verified by us; in reality they may differ slightly. Some images may show the old version of the logo on the blade, and all images are for illustration purposes only. Wood is a natural material and every handle is unique, so variations in colour or grain are significant.
